Development of a new mine is often done in a remote location with minimal site resources. Layfield has the expertise to assist you in getting key environmental controls in place in remote sites such as secondary containments, run-off ponds, and tailings dams. We readily coordinate our lining installations with Arctic and remote site logistics such as barge and air freight requirements.

Layfield as a full suite of materials for mine development including products to help you build access roads, control silt and sediment, develop site water and waste systems, tailing dams, process ponds, leach pads, secondary containments, and tarpaulins for enclosure and weather protection. We also provide bird control covers and nets for solution ponds and many other specialty products.
