Layfield USA becomes a distributor for Surface Tech's ACE FIBER

July 5, 2018

Layfield USA along with Surface Tech are pleased to announce an exclusive partnership, establishing Layfield as a distributor of the ACE FIBER™ product line in Oregon, Washington and Southern California. Both companies are extremely excited about the opportunity  and look forward to working together.
The Ace Fiber product line will have the support of Layfield’s Technical Sales Group in the United States to assist engineers, contractors, asphalt producers, and facility owners. Moving forward, Layfield will also be stocking inventory in its San Diego and Seattle locations to serve the market more effectively.
Layfield is currently celebrating its 40th Anniversary as one of North America’s most respected Geomembrane Containment and Geosynthetic Solution providers.  Over the last 40 years, Layfield has experienced significant growth through innovation, product quality, product expansion, geographic expansion and meaningful partnerships with other industry leaders including Surface Tech.
To create ACE, Surface Tech blends aramid fibers and Sasobit wax to address the 2 major distresses affecting asphalt performance today; cracking and rutting. Doing so also dramatically improves the treated roads’ life expectancy. When ACE Fiber is mixed into asphalt, it disperses over 19 million Aramid fibers throughout each ton of mix to provide 3-dimensional reinforcement that increases the asphalt’s resistance to reflective cracking, rutting, fatigue and increased life expectancy. Layfield is delighted to bring this new technology to our customers.
