The production of flexible packaging consumes on average four times less energy than the alternatives. An aluminum can requires more than double the energy used to produce a stand-up pouch. A glass container uses over 700% more energy than a stand-up pouch! The production of flexible packaging also creates fewer emissions than the alternatives, making it the most sustainable choice for many food packaging needs.
