Product Description

North American Green RollMax Systems’ temporary and permanent EroNet Erosion Control BlanketsNorth-American-Green-Logo-2c.png (ECBs) incorporate polypropylene nettings along with a fiber matrix. The temporary EroNet erosion control blanket products use photodegradable nettings which are ultimately broken down by the sun’s ultraviolet rays. They can be used in a variety of soil stabilization applications including moderate to steep slopes, medium- to high-flow channels, shorelines and other areas needing erosion control protection until permanent vegetation is established.

The ECB creates an excellent micro-climate for the propagation of seeds, while protecting the open soil from direct erosion from rain, wind, and water flow. The ECB is placed after soil preparation and seeding by unrolling over the area and stapling to the ground. Both 6 inch (150 mm) and 8 inch (200 mm) long staples are available from Layfield. Layfield ECBs are typically for short term (12 months) or extended term use (24 months).
