Civil & Geotechnical Engineering

Most of Layfield's engineering assistance is offered to civil and geotechnical engineering customers. We regularly meet and discuss challenging projects with our engineering customers and offer ideas, products, or construction techniques that can help solve engineering problems. We are particularly experienced with frontier engineering problems in remote arctic regions. Another specialty area is our skill in the application and design of floating covers.

Our featured products for civil and geotechnical engineering include our vertical wick drain installation, our MSE wall and slope design capabilites, our floating cover technology, and our installation and maintenance services. Each year we like to meet with the civil and geotechnical engineers in our area to discuss upcoming projects and to show the new products and services available from Layfield. Contact your local Layfield representative to set up a meeting to discuss your next project or to arrange a lunch time presentation to outline Layfield's unique bundle of services.
