Erosion and Sediment Control

There are many types of materials that are used for erosion and sediment control. Layfield has a wide selection available for a variety of applications. Erosion control products are used after construction to stabilize any open soils until vegetation has an opportunity to grow. Sediment control is used during construction to prevent the loss of silt and sediment from the construction site. Both types of controls are important tools in protecting the environment from construction disturbance.

Layfield has erosion and sediment control products for use on both land and in water. Rolled erosion control blankets, silt fence, and RPE liners can be used to prevent erosion on land while turbidity curtains and Aqua Dams control silt and sediment in the water.
