The control of silt and sediment is important on all construction sites but is especially important next to bodies of water. Silt that enters a stream can blanket gravel stream bottoms and damage fish habitat. Layfield has products that can prevent silt and sediment from leaving the construction site and specialized products that can catch sediment in streams and waterways.

Our featured products for silt and sediment control include our floating turbidity barriers that can isolate a construction area in a body of water. We also feature our Aqua Dam temporary coffer dam which can isolate a shoreline to prevent the release of sediment.
