CCMC (Formally CGSB) regulated vapor barriers prevent water vapor from escaping buildings, ultimately protecting homes. This potential leak of vapor can lead to wood rot and the formation of mold. The CCMC developed general standards and requirements that need to be met when undergoing construction. We manufacture our film to attain the requirements of CCMC-51.34-M8. This means it must contain stabilizers and enhanced moisture protection guaranteed to last the lifetime of the building in construction. The 51.34 standard has specific requirements, both for the materials that are used to manufacture the poly and the physical properties of the final product.

Technologies
Polyethylene (PE):

LDPE:
